Wood Built Rifles builds custom bolt action hunting and target rifles in Greenbrier, Arkansas. Sander Wood trained under master gunsmith Gordy Gritters, and every barrel that leaves this shop is dialed in to within .0001" off the bore right in front of the chamber end of the barrel where it matters the most — not assembled from factory pre-fit parts and screwed together. This is work so precise you can't always see it, you have to measure it. These rifles are built to custom specs and hand fit and finished for whatever the customer desires.
We also take in gunsmithing work on rifles you already own: chambering, threading, bedding, accuracy troubleshooting, Cerakote, and custom dies cut with the same reamer as your chamber.
Labor for complete builds starts at $825, Barreled actions start at $1,800 and All in custom rifles from the ground up start at $3,100. Mail-in work accepted from anywhere in the country. You leave satisfied with your build/project of it's free!

Wood Built Rifles is dedicated to delivering exceptional custom bolt action target and hunting rifles. Services offered but not limited to cerakote finishing, laser engraving, threading barrels, chambering barrels, accurizing and identifying accuracy issues with existing rifles, glass/pillar bedding stocks, custom reloading die making and if it's not listed here just ask if we can do it. I am primarily focusing on bolt action rifles because that is what I have a passion for.
